Outer ritual (snāna) at a sanctified place is taught as a means to inner cleansing (antaḥkaraṇa-śuddhi).
Jaṭā-tīrtha, described as ‘ati-pāvana’ (supremely purifying), at Rāmasetu.
Pilgrims should come and bathe (snāna) at Jaṭā-tīrtha to obtain inner purification.
