अस्माकमेतद्ब्रूहि त्वं कृपया व्यासशासित । तथैवामृतनामिन्या वापिकायाश्च वैभवम् । तृप्तिर्न जायतेऽस्माकं त्वद्वचोऽमृतपायिनाम्
asmākametadbrūhi tvaṃ kṛpayā vyāsaśāsita | tathaivāmṛtanāminyā vāpikāyāśca vaibhavam | tṛptirna jāyate'smākaṃ tvadvaco'mṛtapāyinām
ข้าแต่ท่านผู้ได้รับคำสั่งสอนจากพระวยาสะ โปรดเมตตาบอกแก่พวกเราเถิด ทั้งความรุ่งเรืองอัศจรรย์ของสระที่มีนามว่า “อมฤต” ด้วย พวกเราผู้ดื่มน้ำทิพย์แห่งวาจาท่านย่อมไม่รู้จักอิ่มเอม
