āpohiṣṭheti tisṛbhirmārjanaṃ tu tataścaret | bhūmau śirasi cākāśa ākāśe bhuvi mastake

Translation

จากนั้นพึงทำมารชนะ คือการชำระด้วยการประพรม ด้วยสามบทที่ขึ้นต้นว่า ‘อาโป หิ ษฺฐา…’ พิธีนี้กระทำตามผังประเพณี โดยวาง ‘แผ่นดิน’ และ ‘อากาศ’ ในตำแหน่งของตนตามแบบแผนที่สืบมา
