ब्राह्मणा ऊचुः । उपास्ते यश्च लिखितं रक्तपादैस्तु वाडवाः । ज्ञातिश्रेष्ठः स विज्ञेयो वलिर्देयस्ततः परम्
brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ | upāste yaśca likhitaṃ raktapādaistu vāḍavāḥ | jñātiśreṣṭhaḥ sa vijñeyo valirdeyastataḥ param
พราหมณ์ทั้งหลายกล่าวว่า: “ผู้ใดบูชาลายลักษณ์ที่วาฑวะเขียนไว้ด้วยรอยเท้าทาสีแดง ผู้นั้นพึงรู้ว่าเป็นผู้ประเสริฐสุดในหมู่ญาติ; แล้วจึงถวายบะลี (เครื่องบูชา/เครื่องสังเวย) ต่อไป”
