यस्य वर्गस्य यो विप्रो न प्रयास्यति तत्र वै । स च वर्गात्परित्याज्यः स्थानधर्मान्न संशयः
yasya vargasya yo vipro na prayāsyati tatra vai | sa ca vargātparityājyaḥ sthānadharmānna saṃśayaḥ
พราหมณ์ผู้ใดแห่งหมู่คณะใด หากไม่ไปและไม่ยืนร่วมกับหมู่คณะของตน ณ ที่นั้นจริง ๆ ผู้นั้นพึงถูกขับออกจากหมู่คณะนั้นแน่นอน นี่คือสถาณธรรม (sthāna-dharma) อันเป็นจารีตประจำถิ่น ปราศจากข้อสงสัย
