yajñāṃte sītayā rāmo vijñaptaḥ suvinītayā | asyādhvarasya saṃpattī dakṣiṇāṃ dehi suvrata
Narrator (Purāṇic narrator; likely Sūta/Lomaharṣaṇa in Brāhma Khaṇḍa context)
Scene: A completed yajña: fire-altar still glowing, priests seated with kuśa and ladles; Sītā, modest and composed, addresses Rāma to give full dakṣiṇā and completion-gifts.
A sacrifice becomes spiritually complete when it is sealed with dakṣiṇā and rightful gifts—dāna is integral to dharma, not optional.
The verse sets up the Dharmāraṇya context; the immediate glorification unfolds through the later naming of Sītāpura and Dharmālaya within Dharmāraṇya.
Giving dakṣiṇā and the proper completion-gifts (saṃpatti) at the end of a yajña.
