yena vai kriyamāṇena tīrthe'smindvijasattama | brahmahatyādipāpebhyo mucyate tadbravīhi me

โอ้พราหมณ์ผู้ประเสริฐ โปรดบอกข้าพเจ้าเถิดว่า กรรมใดเมื่อกระทำ ณ ตีรถะอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์นี้ ย่อมปลดเปลื้องจากบาปทั้งหลาย เริ่มแต่บาปพราหมณ์ฆาต (พรหมหัตยา) และอื่น ๆ
