rāmeṇa tumule yuddhe rāvaṇo drāvito raṇāt | pañcamyā aṣṭamī yāvadrāvaṇena prabodhitaḥ

ในการรบอันดุเดือด พระรามได้ขับไล่ทศกัณฐ์ออกจากสนามรบ ตั้งแต่วันขึ้น ๕ ค่ำ ถึง ๘ ค่ำ ทศกัณฐ์ได้ปลุกเขาให้ตื่นขึ้น
