ईश्वर उवाच । वरं वृणीष्व भद्रं ते मनसा यदभीप्सितम् । लोहासुर मया देयं तव नास्ति तपोबलात्
īśvara uvāca | varaṃ vṛṇīṣva bhadraṃ te manasā yadabhīpsitam | lohāsura mayā deyaṃ tava nāsti tapobalāt
พระอีศวรตรัสว่า “จงเลือกพรเถิด ขอความเป็นสิริมงคลจงมีแก่เจ้า—สิ่งใดที่ใจเจ้าปรารถนา โอ้โลหาสุระ ด้วยเดชตบะของเจ้า ไม่มีสิ่งใดที่เราจะไม่อาจประทานให้ได้”
