तस्मिंस्तिलोदकेनापि सद्गतिं यांति तर्पिताः । पितरो नरकाद्वा पि सुपुत्रेण सुमेधसा
tasmiṃstilodakenāpi sadgatiṃ yāṃti tarpitāḥ | pitaro narakādvā pi suputreṇa sumedhasā
ณที่นั้น แม้เพียงถวาย “ติโลทกะ” คือ น้ำผสมงา เมื่อบรรพชน (ปิตฤ) ได้รับความอิ่มเอิบ ก็ย่อมไปสู่สุคติอันเป็นมงคล แท้จริง ด้วยบุตรผู้ประพฤติธรรมและมีปัญญา ปิตฤทั้งหลายย่อมพ้นได้แม้จากนรก
