Transliteration narmā́ya puṃścalū́ṃ hasā́ya kāríṃ yā́dase śābalyā́ṃ grāmaṇyáṃ gaṇakám abhikróśakaṃ tā́n maháse vīṇāvādáṃ pāṇighnáṃ tūṇavadhmáṃ tā́n nṛttā́yānandā́ya talavám
Translation To Jest, the harlot; to Laughter; the doer; to the sorcerer; the motley woman; the village-headman; the gambler; the reviler—these to Majesty: the player on the Vīṇā, the hand-clapper, the trumpet-blower—these to Dancing, to Delight, to rhythmic clapping.
