Transliteration

prá bā́havā sisṛtaṃ jīváse na ā́ no gavyū́tim ukṣataṃ ghṛténa | ā́ mā́ jáne śravayataṃ yúvānā śrutáṃ me mitrā́varuṇā háve imā́

Translation

เพื่อชีวิตของพวกเรา ขอท่านทั้งสองจงเหยียดแขนออกไป; ขอจงพรมน้ำมันใส (ghṛta) ให้แก่ทางโค (gavyūti) ของพวกเรา. โอ้สองหนุ่มผู้เป็นเทพ จงทำให้ข้าพเจ้าถูกได้ยินท่ามกลางชนทั้งหลาย; โอมิตรและวรุณะ ขอเสียงเรียกของข้าพเจ้า—คำวอนขอเหล่านี้—จงเป็นที่ได้ยินเถิด.
