सूत उवाच । ऋषयो हि महाप्राज्ञाः सच्छैवा ज्ञानिनां वराः । तन्माहात्म्यं हि सद्भक्त्या शृणुतादरतो द्विजाः

sūta uvāca | ṛṣayo hi mahāprājñāḥ sacchaivā jñānināṃ varāḥ | tanmāhātmyaṃ hi sadbhaktyā śṛṇutādarato dvijāḥ

สูตกล่าวว่า “โอเหล่าฤๅษี ท่านทั้งหลายเป็นผู้มีปัญญายิ่ง เป็นศैวะผู้แท้ และเป็นยอดแห่งผู้รู้ ดังนั้นโอทวิชะทั้งหลาย จงฟังด้วยความเคารพและภักติอันบริสุทธิ์ถึงมหิมาของนั้น (พระศิวะและคำสอนศักดิ์สิทธิ์)”
