In the Vidyeśvara/Viśveśvara context, deva-arcana and charitable offerings function as auxiliaries to Saguna worship—supporting purity (śuddhi) and devotion that ultimately stabilize Linga-worship and reverence for Pati (Śiva) as the supreme Lord.
Perform worship on Friday with samāhita-citta (steady attention), then offer ṣaḍ-rasa food as dana—especially brahmana-bhojana—treating the act as sacred service; add japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” as the internal discipline accompanying the outer rite.
