कालमान-निर्णयः

Determination of the Measures of Time

एतद्द्वादशसाहस्रं साधिकं च चतुर्युगम् । चतुर्युगसहस्रं यत्संकल्प इति कथ्यते

มาตรานี้คือหนึ่งหมื่นสองพัน (ปีทิพย์) และมากกว่านั้นเล็กน้อย—เรียกว่า ‘จตุรยุค’; จตุรยุคหนึ่งพันชุดเช่นนี้เรียกว่า ‘กัลปะ’
