शिशुकस्य शिवशास्त्रप्राप्तिः (Śiśuka’s Attainment of Śaiva Teaching and Grace)
yathā nikṛṣṭānutkṛṣṭānsarvānapyātmanaḥ śivaḥ | kṣamate rakṣituṃ tadvanmaṃtro 'yamapi sarvadā

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Paśupatinātha
Mantra: (Implied) Namaḥ Śivāya
Type: panchakshara
Role: nurturing
It teaches Śiva’s impartial grace: as Pati, He protects all souls without discrimination, and His mantra functions as a direct channel of that protecting power when approached with faith and steadiness.
In Saguna worship, the Liṅga is revered as Śiva’s accessible presence; similarly, the mantra is an accessible form of Śiva’s śakti. Both allow any devotee—regardless of status—to receive protection through devotion and right observance.
Regular mantra-japa (especially the pañcākṣarī, as taught in Shaiva practice) with purity and devotion is implied as a means of protection; it may be paired with simple Shaiva observances like bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and focused remembrance of Śiva.
