Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
It teaches that Shiva’s primary motive is lokānugraha (grace for all beings) and that even the highest manifested principles—beginning with Sadāśiva—function through His indwelling lordship, affirming Shiva as Pati (the Supreme Lord) who liberates the bound soul (pashu) from bondage (pāśa).
By stating that all “mūrti-forms” are presided over by Shiva, it validates saguna worship—such as Linga worship—as a direct approach to the Supreme who is present within and beyond forms; the devotee honors the form while realizing the indwelling Pati.
Meditate that Shiva alone is the adhiṣṭhātṛ (indwelling governor) of every form; in practice, worship the Shiva Linga with the Panchākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) while cultivating the attitude of receiving His anugraha (grace) for inner release.
