Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Role: teaching
It teaches that offering up attachment to results (karma-phala-tyāga) purifies the soul (paśu) and brings it into auspicious conformity with Śiva-dharma, a key step toward loosening pāśa (bondage) and moving toward Śiva’s grace and liberation.
Renouncing the fruit of action turns ritual and devotion into selfless Śiva-ārādhana: Linga worship, japa, and pūjā become offerings to Saguna Śiva rather than transactions for worldly gain, making worship a vehicle for inner purification.
Perform daily Śiva-pūjā or Panchākṣarī japa (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) while explicitly offering all outcomes to Śiva; if following the guru-dependent path, receive mantra-dīkṣā and maintain disciplined sādhana under the guru’s guidance.
