Arjuna’s Mantra-Empowerment and the Pāṇḍavas’ Separation (Śiva-rūpa through Mantra)
te sarve cārjunandṛṣṭvā pāṇḍavā niścayaṃ gatāḥ | jayo'smākaṃ dhuvañjātantejaśca vipulaṃ yataḥ

It highlights how unwavering resolve (niścaya) arises when divine strength and inner radiance (tejas) awaken—an effect Shaiva tradition links to Shiva’s grace that stabilizes the mind and empowers dharma.
In Saguna Shiva worship, the devotee seeks Shiva’s manifest support that transforms fear into certainty; the verse mirrors that shift—confidence born from perceived divine-backed power, like receiving Shiva’s protective presence through Linga devotion.
Cultivate niścaya through japa of the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and steadying practices like Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) application—meant to kindle tejas and firmness in dharma.
