The Manifestation of Shiva as Dvijeśvara
iti niścitya manasā samujjvālya hutāśanam | tamāhūya dvijaṃ cakre patnīdānaṃ sahodakam

The verse highlights dharmic resolve and sanctification through Agni and water—outer rites that mirror inner commitment, aligning household life with sacred order under Shiva’s overarching governance of dharma.
While not explicitly about the Liṅga, it reflects the Shaiva view that righteous rites (karma) performed with purity support devotion to Saguna Shiva and prepare the mind for deeper worship and grace.
It points to performing rites with sankalpa (clear resolve), maintaining ritual purity, and honoring Agni and udaka (water) as consecrating elements; as a Shaiva takeaway, accompany duties with remembrance of Shiva (e.g., mentally repeating Om Namaḥ Śivāya).
