धृतकृष्णाम्बरोष्णीषं कृष्णयज्ञोपवीतिनम् । कृष्णेन मौलिनायुक्तं कृष्णस्नानानुलेपनम्

พระองค์ทรงนุ่งห่มผ้าสีดำและทรงอุษณีษสีดำ; สายยัชโญปวีตะก็เป็นสีดำ. พระเศียรประดับมวยผมสีดำ และทั้งการสรงน้ำกับการชโลมก็เป็นสีดำ—นี่คือรูปสคุณะของพระรุทระที่ปรากฏเพื่อการภาวนาและบูชา।
