विदलोत्पलदैत्ययोरुत्पत्तिः देवपराजयः ब्रह्मोपदेशः नारदप्रेषणम्

विचारयामासतुस्तौ कदा कुत्र शिवा च सा । भविष्यति विधेः प्राप्तोदयान्नाविति सर्वदा
vicārayāmāsatustau kadā kutra śivā ca sā | bhaviṣyati vidheḥ prāptodayānnāviti sarvadā
ทั้งสองครุ่นคิดซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่า—“พระศิวาเทวีจะปรากฏเมื่อใด ที่ใด? หรือเพราะกาลแห่งลิขิตยังไม่สุกงอม นางจะไม่ปรากฏเลยกระนั้นหรือ?”
