Bāṇāsura Receives Gaṇapatya; Genealogical Prelude
आबाल्याद्विष्णुभक्तासि यतोऽनिशमतंद्रिता । एवमस्त्विति सा प्राह मनसा लज्जितानना
ābālyādviṣṇubhaktāsi yato'niśamataṃdritā | evamastviti sā prāha manasā lajjitānanā
เพราะเจ้าบูชาพระวิษณุตั้งแต่วัยเยาว์ และมั่นคงไม่รู้เหน็ดเหนื่อย ครั้นได้ฟังดังนั้น นาง—ก้มหน้าด้วยความละอายในใจ—กล่าวในดวงจิตว่า “ขอให้เป็นเช่นนั้นเถิด”.
