Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Liṅgodbhava
Sthala Purana: Motif of emergence ‘through the liṅga-path’ echoes liṅga as the revelatory axis (liṅgodbhava theme), though not tied here to a specific jyotirliṅga shrine narrative.
Significance: Contemplation of liṅga as the salvific ‘mārga’ and Śiva’s grace removing impediments to dharma/sādhanā.
Shakti Form: Gaurī
Role: nurturing
It shows that grace arises from the Liṅga (Śiva’s sacred presence), and that true progress is sealed by humility—bowing to Śiva—after which the Mother’s śakti manifests as the power that clears impediments on the devotee’s path.
The verse explicitly links emergence and blessing to the “Liṅga-path,” affirming Saguna worship of Śiva through the Liṅga as a living channel of divine presence, where devotion (praṇāma) invokes both Śiva’s anugraha and the Goddess’s protective śakti.
A practical takeaway is Liṅga-pūjā with reverent praṇāma—approaching Śiva through the Liṅga, offering salutations, and praying for obstacle-removal (Avighna) before any sādhana; this pairs naturally with japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya.”
