FAQs

It frames Shiva as Pati—the supreme governor of dharma—who demands restoration of rightful cosmic order and stands with the sat (the righteous). Power is legitimate only when aligned with dharma, otherwise it invites divine correction.

The verse highlights Saguna Shiva as the active, protective Lord who intervenes in history to re-establish dharma. In Linga worship, devotees honor this same Lord as the stable axis of order and refuge for the righteous.

The takeaway is dharmic surrender: worship Shiva with the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) while cultivating satya and ahiṃsā in action—aligning one’s “authority” (adhikāra) with Shiva’s will.
