The verse highlights how divine order (Vidhi/Brahmā) responds immediately when a pivotal dharmic statement is made, showing that in Shaiva narrative, events unfold under higher ordinance aligned with Śiva’s cosmic governance.
Though the Liṅga is not named here, the episode reflects the Purāṇic principle that Saguna manifestations and divine agents like Brahmā act within Śiva’s supreme framework; worship and narrative both affirm Śiva as the ultimate Pati guiding cosmic functions.
The practical takeaway is mindful, truthful speech (vāṅ-niyama) and remembrance of divine ordinance; in a Shaiva sādhanā context, this pairs naturally with japa of the Pañcākṣarī ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") to align one’s intent with Śiva’s will.
