สมุทรกล่าวว่า “โอ้พราหมณ์ผู้ควรเคารพ! เด็กคนนี้มาอยู่ในความดูแลของข้าโดยที่ข้าไม่รู้เหตุใด เขาปรากฏขึ้นฉับพลัน ณ จุดบรรจบของมหาสมุทรกับคงคา—โอ้ผู้พิทักษ์โลกทั้งปวง”
