Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Sthala Purana: Not a specific jyotirliṅga episode; the verse generalizes that correct ritual measure (māna) supports Śivārcana leading to both bhoga (samṛddhi) and mokṣa (mukti).
Significance: Frames Śiva-worship as yielding both worldly fulfilment (sarvakāma-samṛddhi) and the highest goal (mukti) when performed with desirelessness.
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
Offering: pushpa
It teaches that Śiva-worship should be performed according to proper scriptural standards (māna) and with inner dispassion; when devotion is purified of craving, the same worship becomes a direct means to mukti.
Śiva-arcana here implies Saguna worship through form—commonly the Śiva-liṅga—done with correct procedure and reverence, while cultivating a Nirguṇa-oriented intent: offering actions without personal grasping, so worship becomes liberating.
Follow the prescribed method and measurements for Śiva-pūjā (offerings, order, purity), and pair it with a desireless attitude—japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) as an inner discipline supporting the outer arcana.
