Instruction on Rudra–Viṣṇu Unity and Divine Injunctions
narake patanaṃ tasya tvaddveṣātpuruṣottama | madājñayā bhavedviṣṇo satyaṃ satyaṃ na saṃśayaḥ
Lord Śiva (as the supreme Lord issuing a decree within the Sṛṣṭi narrative)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It teaches that dveṣa (hatred) is spiritually destructive and leads to downfall, while also affirming Śiva as the supreme governor (Pati) whose command upholds cosmic justice.
As Saguna Śiva, the Lord actively guides creation and dispenses karmic results; Linga-worship centers on surrender to this supreme authority, replacing hostility and ego with devotion and reverence.
Cultivate bhakti over dveṣa through japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and daily Tripuṇḍra-bhasma remembrance, training the mind toward humility and non-hostility.
