FAQs

It affirms Shiva as the supreme Pati—established in tapas and beyond ordinary time—whose divine union with Sati indicates the endurance of dharma and devotion across cosmic cycles.

By describing Shiva as ‘tapas-svarūpa’ and enduring through kalpas, the verse supports Saguna worship (Linga/manifest form) as a stable focus for devotion to the timeless, transcendent Lord.

Tapas-oriented Shiva sādhanā is implied—regular japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with disciplined vows and purity, aligning the devotee with Shiva’s austerity-nature.
