संध्याचरित्रवर्णनम् (Sandhyā-caritra-varṇanam) — “Narration of Sandhyā’s Austerity and Encounter with Śiva”

यस्याऽपरं नो जगदुच्यते पदात् क्षितिर्दिशस्सूर्य इंदुर्मनौजः । बर्हिर्मुखा नाभितश्चान्तरिक्षं तस्मै तुभ्यं शंभवे मे नमोस्तु

yasyā'paraṃ no jagaducyate padāt kṣitirdiśassūrya iṃdurmanaujaḥ | barhirmukhā nābhitaścāntarikṣaṃ tasmai tubhyaṃ śaṃbhave me namostu

จากพระบาทของพระองค์กล่าวกันว่าโลกทั้งปวงบังเกิด—แผ่นดิน ทิศทั้งหลาย พระอาทิตย์ พระจันทร์ และพลังชีวิตแห่งจิต; พระพักตร์คือไฟศักดิ์สิทธิ์บนแท่นยัญ และบริเวณพระนาภีคือห้วงอากาศ—ขอนอบน้อมแด่พระศัมภูผู้เป็นมงคลนั้น แด่พระองค์เท่านั้น
