Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Mantra:
It asserts, on the authority of Śruti, that the Supreme Lord who pervades all deities is the highest refuge, and that realization culminates in the inner certainty expressed as ‘so’ham’—recognizing Śiva as the supreme Reality and inner ruler.
By calling the Lord ‘sarvadevamaya’ (containing all gods), it supports Linga/Saguna worship as worship of the one Śiva who includes and transcends all divine functions, making the Linga a unifying focus for devotion and contemplation.
A practical takeaway is japa and contemplation on the sense of ‘so’ham’ alongside Shiva-mantra practice (such as Om Namaḥ Śivāya), using it to steady the mind on Śiva as the indwelling Supreme.
