It teaches that worship grounded in satya (truth and integrity) purifies the devotee and draws the Goddess’s grace, culminating not only in auspicious worldly order (fame and prosperity) but also in mukti—release from bondage—through Śiva-Śakti’s compassion.
In the Shiva Purana’s devotional framework, Saguna worship of Śiva (often through the Liṅga) is naturally accompanied by reverence to Śakti as Parameśānī. Her worship supports and completes Śiva-bhakti, granting both dharmic prosperity and the maturity that leads to liberation.
A key takeaway is nitya-arcana—daily worship performed with truthfulness and purity of intention—such as offering water, flowers, and mantra-japa (e.g., the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with ethical discipline (satya) as the inner vow.
