It highlights the outward marks of dharmic reverence—stuti (praise), praṇipāta (prostration), and añjali (joined hands)—showing how social honour and ritual acclaim can gather around a powerful figure, even as Shaiva teaching warns that true purity depends on humility and right devotion to Pati (Shiva), not merely status or boons.
By emphasizing stuti and formal worship, it mirrors the external modes used in Saguna Shiva/Linga worship (praise, namaskara, ritual honour). In the Sati narrative, such outward ritual propriety becomes a contrast-point: devotion must be correctly oriented toward Shiva, otherwise ceremonial worship can remain incomplete despite grandeur.
The verse suggests devotional discipline through stotra-recitation and praṇāma with añjali (joined palms). As a Shaiva takeaway, one may pair such reverence with the Panchākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and a humble inner attitude, so external worship aligns with inward surrender.
