Sati (narrated within the Sati-khaṇḍa context, as part of the unfolding account related to Daksha’s attitude toward Shiva)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: liberating
It teaches that insight into Shiva-tattva dissolves inner bonds like jealousy (īrṣyā) and delusion (moha); surrendering egoic stubbornness becomes a step toward Shiva-bhakti and liberation.
Linga-worship trains the mind to recognize Shiva as the supreme Pati beyond personal bias; as that recognition deepens, negative emotions and rigid opinions naturally fall away, making devotion steady and pure.
Practice japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with self-examination: consciously renounce jealousy and obstinacy, and offer them into Shiva through dhyāna and daily pūjā (with bhasma and rudrākṣa if one follows those observances).
