It shows that divine darśana matures into jñāna: when Pārvatī truly beholds the sacred reality, recognition (vijñāna) arises, and that insight naturally flowers as joyful praise (stuti)—a key Shaiva path where knowledge and devotion support liberation.
The verse highlights saguna-upāsanā: perceiving a divine form leads the devotee from external vision to inner certainty. In Shiva-worship, the Liṅga and divine forms function as supports for concentration, culminating in clear recognition of the Supreme (Pati) and His inseparable power (Śakti/Parameśānī).
Practice darśana with focused mind, then stuti: after worship (e.g., offering bilva leaves, vibhūti/tri-puṇḍra, and japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), sit briefly in contemplation to let understanding ripen, and conclude with heartfelt hymns of praise.
