It highlights how loving devotion (sneha-bhakti) naturally draws the soul and its supports toward the presence of Pati (Śiva), whose grace brings inner joy—an essential Shaiva Siddhānta theme of divine favor leading the bound being toward auspiciousness.
The verse emphasizes meeting the Lord in a manifest, approachable form—Saguna Śiva—attended by devas, indicating that reverent approach to Śiva’s presence (often through Liṅga worship in the Purāṇa’s ritual culture) culminates in prīti, the felt blessing of the Lord.
The takeaway is devotional approach: proceed to Śiva with love and reverence—supported by japa of the Pañcākṣarī ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") and simple pūjā (offerings with purity), seeking Śiva’s prīti (graceful joy).
