मेनायाः क्रोध-विलापः — Menā’s Lament and Reproach

विष्णुरुवाच । पितॄणां च प्रिया पुत्री मानसी गुणसंयुता । पत्नी हिमवतस्साक्षाद्ब्रह्मणः कुलमुत्तमम्

พระวิษณุตรัสว่า “นางเป็นธิดาอันเป็นที่รักของเหล่าปิตฤ เป็นผู้บังเกิดจากจิตและเปี่ยมด้วยคุณธรรม; นางเป็นชายาของหิมวานโดยแท้ และสืบสายตระกูลอันประเสริฐของพระพรหม”
