ग्रहाणां पूजनं प्रीत्या चक्रुस्ते शम्भुना मया । मण्डलस्थसुराणां च सर्वेषां विघ्नशान्तये
grahāṇāṃ pūjanaṃ prītyā cakruste śambhunā mayā | maṇḍalasthasurāṇāṃ ca sarveṣāṃ vighnaśāntaye

Significance: Highlights Śiva as the ultimate niyantṛ (governor) of cosmic forces; even grahas and deities in their spheres are harmonized through Śiva-sanctioned worship for vighna-śānti.

The verse frames obstacle-removal (vighna-śānti) as most effective when actions are performed with devotion and under Śiva’s ordinance—showing that cosmic forces like grahas are harmonized when aligned with the Lord (Pati) who governs the whole mandala of beings.
Even when auxiliary deities (grahas and mandala-devas) are worshipped, the authority and inner refuge remain Śambhu; in Shaiva practice, such rites are ideally done as Śiva-ārādhana in a broader sense—supporting Saguna worship that culminates in devotion to the Linga as the central Lord.
It suggests vighna-śānti through orderly worship of grahas and associated deities with a joyful, devotional mind; a Shaiva takeaway is to accompany such rites with Śiva-mantra japa (especially the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) to place the practice under Śiva’s grace.
