जंगमं विजितन्तत्र स्थावरेण विशेषतः । जंगमेन च तत्रासीज्जितं स्थावरमेव हि
jaṃgamaṃ vijitantatra sthāvareṇa viśeṣataḥ | jaṃgamena ca tatrāsījjitaṃ sthāvarameva hi
ที่นั่นเหล่าสิ่งที่เคลื่อนไหวถูกพิชิต โดยเฉพาะด้วยสิ่งที่อยู่นิ่ง; และในเหตุการณ์เดียวกันนั้นเอง สิ่งที่อยู่นิ่งก็ถูกพิชิตโดยสิ่งที่เคลื่อนไหวอย่างแท้จริง.

It highlights the mutual dependence and limitation of all embodied categories—mobile and immobile—implying that true supremacy belongs not to any created class but to Pati (Lord Shiva), who transcends these opposites and grants liberation.
The Linga signifies Shiva as the stable, transcendental ground of being, while also accommodating Saguna worship; by showing that both 'moving' and 'unmoving' can overcome each other, the verse points the devotee toward taking refuge in Shiva beyond dualities.
A practical takeaway is to steady the mind (make it 'sthāvara') through japa of the Panchakshara—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—and support it with Shaiva disciplines like Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa, so the restless 'jaṅgama' tendencies are mastered.
