The verse teaches that the Panchākṣara-centered offering (“Śivāya”) is a direct vehicle of Śiva’s intent, and that worship performed through Devī (Śakti) is fully accepted by Rudra—uniting devotion, mantra, and divine grace in a Shaiva Siddhānta spirit.
It supports Saguna upāsanā: mantra-infused worship offered in a concrete ritual form (such as Liṅga-pūjā) becomes efficacious when aligned with Śiva’s name and performed with Śakti’s mediating presence—showing Śiva and Śakti as inseparable in worship.
Offer or consecrate the act of giving (dāna) and worship with the mantra “(Om) Śivāya,” and meditate on Śiva-Śakti unity—treating the mantra as the core of pūjā and japa for gaining Rudra’s favor.
