ब्रह्मोवाच । इति श्रुत्वा वसिष्ठस्तु शैलवाक्यं प्रसन्नधीः । प्रोवाच गिरये तस्मै नृपवार्त्ता सुखावहाम्

พรหมาตรัสว่า เมื่อได้ฟังถ้อยคำของภูผาแล้ว วสิษฐะผู้มีจิตผ่องใสสงบ ได้กล่าวแก่ภูเขานั้นถึงข่าวคราวของพระราชาอันรื่นรมย์และก่อให้เกิดความสุข
