It highlights divine līlā: even cosmic feats occur effortlessly for the gods, pointing the devotee toward humility and recognition that supreme power operates beyond ego—revealing the greatness of Śiva’s Śakti, embodied as Pārvatī.
The verse supports Saguna worship by portraying the manifest divine powers in narrative form; in Shaiva understanding, the Liṅga signifies Śiva, while such līlās show Śiva’s inseparable Śakti—together inspiring devotion to the Śiva–Śakti reality represented in Liṅga worship.
Contemplate Śiva–Śakti unity while chanting the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and applying Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) with reverence, cultivating surrender to divine power rather than reliance on personal strength.
