พรหมาตรัสว่า—ในขณะนั้น นันทิเกศวร ผู้เป็นจอมทัพ ได้นั่งลงต่อหน้ากาติกेय แล้วจึงกล่าวถ้อยคำ
Brahma
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Paśupatinātha
It highlights reverent transmission of guidance within Shiva’s divine order: Nandikeśvara, as Shiva’s foremost attendant and leader, approaches Kārtikeya properly (sitting before him) to convey counsel—showing humility, discipline, and dharmic communication in Shaiva life.
Nandikeśvara embodies Saguna Shiva’s living presence through Shiva’s gaṇas and sacred hierarchy; honoring Nandi (often placed before the Shiva-liṅga in temples) reflects devotion to Shiva’s manifest form and His divine retinue that upholds dharma.
It suggests upāsanā through respectful posture and attentive listening (śravaṇa): sit facing the deity/teacher with humility; in Shiva worship this aligns with calm japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) performed with disciplined demeanor.
