कार्तिक्यां कृत्तिकासंगे कुर्याद्यः स्वामिदर्शनम् । तस्य पापं दहेत्सर्वं चित्तेप्सित फलं लभेत्
kārtikyāṃ kṛttikāsaṃge kuryādyaḥ svāmidarśanam | tasya pāpaṃ dahetsarvaṃ cittepsita phalaṃ labhet
ผู้ใดในกาลการ์ตติกี ณ สังโยคอันเป็นมงคลแห่งหมู่กฤตติกา ได้เฝ้าดาร์ศนะพระสวามี (พระศิวะ) บาปทั้งปวงของผู้นั้นย่อมมอดไหม้ และย่อมได้ผลอันใจปรารถนา.

Sthala Purana: Not tied here to a specific Jyotirliṅga; the verse teaches a time-based vrata/darśana-phala: on Kārttikī with Kṛttikā-saṅga, Śiva-darśana burns pāpa and grants desired fruits.
Significance: Darśana of Śiva at the Kārttikī–Kṛttikā conjunction is said to incinerate sins (pāpa-dāha) and fulfill heartfelt aims—typical purāṇic framing of intensified anugraha at auspicious time-nakṣatra junctions.

It teaches that sincere Śiva-darśana performed in a sacred time (Kārttika, linked with the Kṛttikās) becomes a grace-filled act: pāpa is ‘burned’ and the devotee gains innerly desired results, emphasizing bhakti supported by auspicious observance.
‘Svāmi-darśana’ is commonly fulfilled through temple worship and Liṅga-darśana—meeting Saguna Śiva through form and rite—by which the devotee’s impurities are purified and blessings manifest, aligning outer darśana with inner surrender.
