गणेशाभिषेक-वरदान-विधानम् | Gaṇeśa’s Consecration, Boons, and Prescribed Worship
ब्रह्मोवाच । शिवेनैव तदा प्रोक्तं गणेशाय महात्मने । तदानीं दैवतैश्चैव सर्वैश्च ऋषिसत्तमैः
brahmovāca | śivenaiva tadā proktaṃ gaṇeśāya mahātmane | tadānīṃ daivataiścaiva sarvaiśca ṛṣisattamaiḥ
พระพรหมตรัสว่า—ในกาลนั้น พระศิวะเองได้ตรัสถ้อยคำนี้แก่พระคเณศผู้มีจิตยิ่งใหญ่ และในขณะนั้นเหล่าเทพทั้งปวงพร้อมด้วยฤๅษีผู้ประเสริฐทั้งหลายก็ได้สดับและเห็นพ้องด้วย.
