FAQs

It highlights faithful transmission of a sacred message within Śiva’s divine household—showing that dharmic action begins with truthful communication and reverent reporting to the rightful authority (here, Gaṇeśa).

Though the Liṅga is not named here, the verse operates within the Saguna (personal) sphere of Śaiva tradition, where Śiva’s family—Pārvatī and Gaṇeśa—participate in divine governance and the unfolding of Śiva’s līlā.

The practical takeaway is śraddhā and satya (faithful, accurate speech). In a Śaiva routine, one may pair this with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) before conveying decisions or undertaking duties.
