यद्रूपं भवता दृष्टं सर्वलोकसुखावहम् । हिताय तव देवेश धृतं भावय तद्ध्रुवम्
yadrūpaṃ bhavatā dṛṣṭaṃ sarvalokasukhāvaham | hitāya tava deveśa dhṛtaṃ bhāvaya taddhruvam
รูปที่ท่านได้ประจักษ์นั้น เป็นผู้ประทานสุขแก่สรรพโลก; พระผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งเทพได้ทรงรับรูปนั้นเพื่อเกื้อกูลแก่ท่าน. เพราะฉะนั้นจงเพ่งภาวนารูปนั้นด้วยความมั่นคงแน่วแน่.

It supports Saguna-upāsanā: meditating on the specific, compassion-bearing form Shiva assumes for the devotee. In Jyotirlinga contexts, the Linga is the stable focus through which the devotee ‘holds’ the divine presence and repeatedly contemplates Shiva’s grace-bestowing manifestation.
