Kāmarūpeśvara’s Trial and Śiva’s Hidden Protection (कামरूपेश्वर-रक्षा-प्रसङ्गः)
पुनश्शक्तिश्च निःक्षिप्ता तेन शंभूपरि द्विजाः । शंभुना सापि बाणैस्स्वैर्लक्षधा च कृता द्रुतम्
punaśśaktiśca niḥkṣiptā tena śaṃbhūpari dvijāḥ | śaṃbhunā sāpi bāṇaissvairlakṣadhā ca kṛtā drutam
โอ้ทวิชทั้งหลาย! เขาขว้างศัสตรา ‘ศักติ’ ใส่ศัมภูอีกครั้ง แต่ศัมภูทรงใช้ศรของพระองค์ทำศัสตรานั้นให้แตกเป็นแสนเสี่ยงโดยฉับพลัน

It shows that all finite force (weapons, ego, hostility) is powerless before Śambhu, the supreme Pati; liberation arises not by conquering God, but by surrendering to Him with devotion.
Śiva here acts as Saguna Śambhu—personally protecting dharma and demonstrating divine mastery—while reminding devotees that the Linga signifies the same invincible Lord beyond all human or demonic power.
Adopt śaraṇāgati (refuge) through japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” and steady the mind with Tripuṇḍra-bhasma and Rudrākṣa as supports for humility and restraint.
