FAQs

It teaches that sincere worship of Shiva’s sacred manifestations (as praised in the Kotirudra section) removes worldly suffering and culminates in moksha, affirming bhakti as a direct means to grace.

Kotirudra Samhita emphasizes Shiva’s accessible, worship-worthy forms—especially the Jyotirlinga tradition—showing that Saguna worship (with form, rite, and devotion) can purify bondage and lead to liberation by Shiva’s anugraha (grace).

Perform regular Shiva-pūjā—especially linga/Jyotirlinga worship—with mantra-japa (notably the Panchakshara, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), offerings like water and bilva leaves, and a devotional intent aimed at inner purification.
